The future of Linden’s 1934 water tower will be discussed at the next meeting of the Linden City Council on 13 October 2015 beginning at 6 pm at the Mary Daughety Senior Citizens Center on South Kaufman.  An action item on the agenda is the disconnect of the water tower from the City water system. Engineering reports with options will be presented to the Council. The Linden Heritage Foundation supports preservation of the structure as a historic landmark and future development of the site in a way that will optimally boost our downtown vitality. Please attend this meeting, if possible, and/or contact members of City Council to express your support for these same goals.  If you wish to make remarks during the public comment agenda item, be sure to arrive at least 5 minutes early so you can sign the Public Comment list.
